Concert highlights have seen Christian perform at the Oxford Lieder Festival, the North West New Music Festival, the Reflections of Debussy Festival at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, the Machynlleth Festival, and The City of London Festival, as well as

In addition to solo and vocal duo performances, Christian has performed regularly and lectured for the Divas & Scholars Opera Interpretations and Perspectives Study Day Series that take place at Cadogan Hall and Markham Square, London.

Christian has vast experience as a vocal accompanist, and has performed many songs and cycles by composers including Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Schumann, Mahler, Strauss, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Poulenc, Stravinsky and Britten.  Also active as a solo pianist, Christian feels especially at home with 19th Century rhetoric, with a particular emphasis on works by F. Liszt.

In 2015 Christian was awarded the Lady Grenfell-Baines Accompanist Prize in the final of the Emmy Destinn Award held in London.

Christian is very much in demand as a piano teacher.  His extensive teaching practice comprises students who have gained considerable success in both ABRSM examinations and competitions, as well as achieving very high standards on the performance platform.

In 2019, Christian was appointed piano teacher and accompanist for Berkshire Maestros, and now divides his time between Berkshire, London and Chelmsford.  He works regularly with Christopher Hann and the Berkshire Youth Choir and Berkshire Young Voices.
